Harford County Mid-Winter Meeting
The Harford County Mid-Winter Meeting was held on February 5, 2009 at the 4-H Campgrounds in Harford County. Topics included carcass quality of grass-fed beef, natural resource agency updates, hay and pasture issues, soil fertility/nutrient management, an introduction to the NuMan Reporter (Version 2.0) reporting software, and an update on agronomic production. Speakers included Trish Steinhilber and Paul Shipley, both from the University of Maryland Agricultural Nutrient Management Program, Dr. Les Vough, Professor Emeritus from the University of Maryland, and Dr. Bob Kratochvil also from the University of Maryland.
