The Nutrient Management Update workshop was held on March 9, 2009 at the MDA Headquarters in Annapolis, MD. Topics included: ammonia volatilization, beyond the nitrogen cycle, Combined Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) regulations, cover crop management, and adaptive nitrogen management. Speakers included: Jack Meisinger (USDA/ARS), Trish Steinhilber (University of Maryland), Patsy Allen (MDE), Dean Hively (USDA/ARS), and Josh McGrath (University of Maryland).
